CBCCoM Drive to Big Sur – New Date

Our last drive of the 2025 season was to be be November 15th. We would have driven down Hwy 1 to the turnaround and then back up to Fernwood Resort, at 47200 Hwy 1, Big Sur.
As usual we will depart from Starbucks in the Crossroads. The departure time will be 10:00am. Meet up at 9:30am.
The schedule for the day is:
10:00 am departure from Starbucks with a stop at the Turn Around for pictures. We’ll then drive back to Julie Pfeiffer Burns State Park. You can visit the restroom and/or take the amazing hike out to the Falls. The hike is not long and is easy.m (Now that Highway 1 is open, we may go a little further)
The plan is to depart the park around 11:20 – 11:30 at the latest. The last stop will be the Fernwood Resort for lunch. They have a diverse menu, but are known for their amazing pizzas.
After lunch, you may return at your leisure.
This is one of my favorites and weather permitting the views are amazing. I look forward to seeing you then.
